I am a designer on a day to day basis i route pipewrok and place equiptment within a model as well as update spreadsheets and speak to others aout problems.
Yes, i have more knowledge within engineering and design. It has enhanced my modelling skills and overall view of enigneering. Being able to use different skills throught the apprenticeship is great.
I enjoy it as we get to see different areas of the business and work with different poeple. We rotate and get to see both the design world, engineering and shop floor based placements.
I feel valued as i get to do importnant tasks which help the business wihtin the design of the products. I also get to voice opinions on what to imporve and change.
It is well organised and structured as i get to move around the business and meet new people. This allows a wider ocncept to be gained within engineering and an appreciation of what others do and how our jobs interlink.
We recieve lots of support when needed with any college work form both the colege and work. Tutors can be emailled and will repsond or i can go and ask for help.
Lots of support hwenever i ask or need it with college work, work in genral or NVQ. Work are always helpfula nd try and provide us with what we need.
Salary is great and i get a pay incraese after a review if my progress is good enough which is a good incentive to ensure i perform to my best ability and complete the relevant tasks.
Yes, we can get involved in different activities outside of work such as challenges, going into schools, sports teams and get togethers. Great ways of meeting new people.

Great apprneitceship. many oppurtunities to grow within the business as well as gaining higher and further education to gain a management or enigneeirng role.
Work Hard and ensure you know about what the business do as well as what the role oyu are applying for does on a day to day basis. This will help them why you want the job.
