Data Services - Install networking equipment into businesses and fix faults.Responsible for my own learning with support from Virgin Media, working towards a CCNA (Cisco Certifed Network Associate) qualification and HNC.
CCNA qualification and a lot of new skills learnt working with networking equipment.
Very enjoyable, hard work but rewarding
As a young person in a big business I feel that having been with them for 5 years and gone through two apprenticeships I am a valued member of Virgin and my opinion is respected.
This is the first Data Services apprenticeship Virgin has run so it is at times a little difficult but through our imput it will continue to grow in the same way the Service and Install apprenticeship has done.
Everything is run internally so I can get any help/experience/knowledge from shadowing my colleagues.
If I am ever in need of support I have many different sources of help all ready to help me.
My salary and benefits are great. Looking at other apprenticeships Virgin is in my opinion the best.
Regular team meetings in which we will have team events and yearly charity days.
Yes
Friendly, good people, alot of opportunitys and a good time.
Be yourself, be ready to work hard and enjoy it.
