I work on support in the damage recovery unit. I work as a switchboard helping redirect customers or insurance companies in the right direction to get a claim moving forward. On a day to basis I take phone calls, answer emails, save faxes to the correct claims and on some days complete post.
I have developed my customer service skills and my computer skills. I have developed my knowledge of damage claims and insurance claims. I have also developed my communication skills.
I thoroughly enjoy my program and feel it gives a great sense of satisfaction
I feel very valued and appreciated in the workplace
I have free reign when it comes to my programme. I see my tutor once every 5 weeks and in that time it is my own responsibility to manage my work load
An adequate amount. I see my tutor once every 5 weeks but I can email her with any questions I have and if I need to see more frequently I can.
As much as I need or want, my manager makes time to regularly update with me and if I need more help I can book an appointment to discuss this.
It's a struggle to be on such a low wage, travelling to work and bills are a necessity and its a tight squeeze being on just £5 an hour
This qualification could benefit in many different roles, it has helped me develop as a person
