As a technical solutions specialist I can set my learning at a pace which helps me become better at my role and expand on it without felling under pressure.
At IBM we are given the option to always develop ourselves whether that is refreshing previous knowledge or gain new skills which may not necessarily be in your field.
The programme is placed in a warm, welcome and friendly environment where everyone is treated with the same respect regardless of knowledge, status or position.
After speaking with many of the existing apprentices, alongside my own experience, I feel that every single person is valued at IBM and their skills and effort are recognized.
The process is organized in such a way that put the apprentice right in the heart of the programme. This makes you feel at welcome and leaves the apprentice with a great experience.
Support is available at every stage of the process and it is only an email/phone call away.

Any costs incurred from having to go to a site out of your base location is managed and reimbursed literally at the click of a button.
IBM is full of opportunities for everyone whether it is in or out of their everyday role.
Yes
The experience and knowledge you gain from an IBM apprenticeship is unmatchable.
The best advice, from me, for someone starting at IBM as an apprentice would be to ask where they are unsure. There is always someone to help all you have to do is let them know you need it.
