I am working in and instrumentation role where I assist with electrical related jobs and work along side an experienced team that provides instrumentation support to the rest of the company.
I have learnt many new skills since being In this job role. I have become first aid qualified and have been introduced to things such as strain gauging.
The course is enjoyable as I am continuously learning in a practical environment which suits me best.
I work for a partner company CSA Group however I feel valued by my employer and grateful to have been successful with the EOP scheme I achieved. I feel respected and appreciated by my department and fellow colleagues.
The first year at the training centre was very well organised and structured. Once I entered my business it became more of my responsibility to gather evidence and complete job packs. My assessor visits regularly and gives feedback on my progression.
My assessor gives feedback on visits and is there for any support if needed. the training centre was a good place to learn as all tutors were friendly and very helpful.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, whether its to further my education or just in my day to day role. My managers are approachable and are willing to help with most situations.
As I am employed by a company not BAE my salary is lower than theirs however is reasonable for an apprenticeship.
My company has a few sports clubs and host some events throughout the year that everyone is welcome to join.
Yes
Good quality of training.
Prepare and show enthusiasm.
