My apprenticeship is as an electrical designer. The role of this is to design the layout and positioning of electrical equipment and the connecting cables throughout a submarine
I have learnt how to use various pieces of software that is used to help design the submarine.
I enjoy the work I do and find it interesting to do; it does not bore me
Even as an apprentice, the work I do is valued by the teams I work on and will be used when the submarine is being built
The programme is well organised; training is planned out well in accordance with new placements and college is also useful for my job
Any help that is needed can be given as long as it is asked for appropriately

Very well
There are a lot of opportunities to get involved with projects outside of work, such as STEM
Yes
I enjoy working here
Pay attention to the lessons in school as some of them, such as maths and physics, come in very useful throughout the college part of the apprenticeship and the job in general.
