Insurance technician. Inputting and monitoring claims, query management, filing.
I have achieved my IF1 qualification from the CII. I have also achieved my Level 2 NVQ in providing financial services. The internal training has made me feel far more confident in carrying out day to day tasks involved in my job role
I enjoy my job, I feel challenged by the tasks that I am faced with each day. I get on well with my team and am constantly being given advice and help. The company culture is great and everyone is friendly towards everyone else.
I feel valued by Willis and have been shown great appreciation from both my manager and other members of the team. I am always encouraged to be involved with new tasks.
My apprenticeship provider was not the most organised of companies, internally however help is always there if I need it. My on the job training was very ad-hoc but allowed me to be exposed to a multitude of different scenarios.
I was always offered help if needs be, however it was usually via email or over the phone. I did however have a revision session just before my IF1 exam which help calm my nerves and allowed me to do some last minute revision.
Everyone within Willis wants me to succeed, I have been given plenty of exposure to all different things in regards to my job role. Aside from my job role, I have been given the opportunity to study and acheive my professional qualifications.
My salary covers everything I need it to cover.
I have taken part in a few fundraising events.
