I am an apprentice technician with BAE systems. currently studying off site at a local training centre learning about electronics, circuitry and components along with their function.
my team work and communication skills have been greatly increased and I am now much more competent in the field of electronics.
I love my programme. never so early in my life did I think id enjoy coming to work.
BAE makes you feel like your a very important member of the massive team. They really look after you and want the best for you. we have regular check ups and write reports so that everything is to the highest standard for our education.
It is very well structured and organised. The whole program runs smoothly and any hiccups along the way are always resolved extremely quick.
I receive so much support. both BAE and the training centre are there for me all the time when it comes to my learning. any question I have is answered, all things are explained and examples are given to better my understanding.

my salary gets me by every month. of course more would be better so I can save more for the things I want but for an apprenticeship the pay is very good.
At my stage now, there are not many as I am very busy studding for my NVQ, so most opportunities are turned down.
