everday I wake up and have a full English breakfast. breakfast is the most important meal of the day. then I get the bus to HMS Sultan and begin my studies. this involves me learning academic subjects and doing assignments. I also eat lunch over at the jrac and the food is decent. not the best but it is not bad.
yes I have developed new skills the reason why is because I have been taught ilm and also I have been doing pd lessons. this teaches us how to become better and learn new skills. I very much enjoy working in a team and learning new skills. I am a good team player and leader.
to a certain extent I enjoy this programme reason being I get to meet new people and also socialise with them. this is good because I have made new friends and also I have met new people. I have had lots of banter and this is good. so this is the best bit about the programme.
I feel valued a lot. because network rail are a very good company that treats people fairly and also very well. they have looked after me so far and I quite value the company ethos. this is very important because it makes me happy. they take into account my personal needs and provide.
currently the programme is organised but not very well. it was a lot more organised but due to babcock staff leaving it has become unclear now as to who is teaching my class and it is little little things like that that makes it less organised and structured. but other that that it is good.
I receive support from my teachers which is good because they are there for me if I need any help. also if I don't need any help they still offer help. this is very good because it makes you feel valued and it shows that you are being treated fairly and well.

currently it is alright it could be better if we were to get paid more money but for the fact that we get our accommodation provided it is not too bad. however the food provided is not amazing thus I have to spend a lot of money on my own food and this is a very hefty expense.
yes there are good opportunities outside of work. I play football a lot with my friends and also I like to go out so therefore there are good opportunities. I also go to gym every now and again because we have the facilities. so I believe that it is good for us and we get lots of opportunities.
Yes
the reason why I would recommend network rail to a friend is because it has been a very good experience and also it pays well. the qualifications that you get are pretty good so therefore once you complete the course you will be working for the company so its good opportunity for my friends and myself.
the tips that I would give for anyone applying to network rail is to enjoy it and have interest in it. because you will have more fun if you want to be doing an apprenticeship. also I would say work hard and play hard. ensure that you make the most of it and enjoy your 3 years because you only live once.
