this varies on each placement i undertake, as i have no alignment it differs greatly from each placement
I have developed existing skills and gained new qualifications and most importantly developed my knowldge on RR products and engineering.
I do enjoy it however on many occasions i have felt surplus to requremetns and constantly swapping jobs can make me feel less of a team member as just when i get to know people i am moved. I enjoy the nature of the job and the engineering
Very little most of the time as i am just a burden on the office i have never been recognised for anything and quite often feel like a spare part however i feel this will cahnge when i move into a substantial placement/Job
Its quite unstyructed when it comes to placements as i am not aligned i have placements vary and skills learnt cant always be transferred from one job to another.
Support is mixed sometimes its a good help with contacts etc other times it puts you on a back step and downgrades what you have already achieved...
If i need support my placement manager will usually help.
As i am living at home still i covers my cost fine however if i was to move away to work i would have to adjust expenditure. However after a few payrises it will work out.
With the Apprentice Association there are lots of social opportunites and with STEM there are further community and educational opportunities there are also sporting opportunites such as cycling trips.
Yes
Because it is a valued company with good wages and prestige. I enjoy engineering and am interested on the products themselves.
Complete your NVQ on your own terms and dont listen to people telling you to slow down etc and if theres something you want dont be afriad to go and get it yourself rather than wait for others to try and get it for you...
