Flying start 1, the equivalent of an AS1, working in audit. I cover the more basic areas of an audit engagement including cash, PPE, prepaid expenses etc. I work in an audit team of other PwC staff at clients offices and interact witrh the client on a daily basis.
Currently taking exams towards my ACA. I've learnt how to use all the PwC computer programmes related to audit as well as improving general microsoft office skills.
I enjoy the programme a lot as I get to work in good teams and have a lot of interaction with the client.
There is a very good feedback system in PwC so you always know how you performed on engagements. There is a lot of praise given to good work by managers and above and there are often rewards, such as lunches out, for good work.
It's very weel organised. It's a combination of University and work and has been structured very well to allow us the quickest route into getting a degree and the ACA qualififcation. There are lots of people (e.g. programme directors, lecturers, colleagues, bosses etc) we can go to at any point meaning we are always well supported. All our learning ties into other areas meaning we get to put into practice things we leanr to develop our understanding.
We have constant support from lecturers back at University as well as our people manager at PwC and the programme contact from PwC.
A lot, we always have people available to us
As our accomodation near our office is provided to us by PwC our salary is sufficient to meet our needs.
This is one area that I believe is lacking. There are very few pout of hours events.
Yes
good work environment, good people and progression
