Supply chain management higher apprenticeship, I take on various roles within the supply chain in order to get an understanding. Currently I am in a scheduling role.
Yes communication, teamwork and confidence. Since the start of my apprenticeship I have led meetings and got more involved. also on a degree programme.
Really enjoy the job, company culture and the people I work with.
I feel very valued, with the training I receive the feedback I am able to give as well as the amount they are investing in my future.
Yes, clear criteria such as NVQ and degree programme. sometimes a little confusing with the job but overall very good.
I have tutors and teachers at university who support me on a day to day basis online and face to face while at uni. In the job I work with a member of staff who supports me every day with any questions or issues I may have.
A good level of support from all, each placement has a manager which will look after the apprentice and over see the training they receive.
It's an apprenticeship so you would expect the salary to be lower, In terms of the other apprenticeships I looked at its a lot lower but the opportunities are worth it. The salary at the end will also be higher than other jobs so worth the weight. The expenses also help while i'm training or at university.
The apprenticeship association, colleagues, company events and days. I am also a stem ambassador so I get involved with teaching programmes outside of work.
Yes
Brilliant opportunities!
Learn about the competences and make sure you use them in the application process. Make the most of every opportunity and work hard, in a company like this the opportunities will come.
