My day to day tasks involve looking at process improvements with the process team I am working within, solving problems to benefit the process and the company. I interact daily with many different members of the facility, for example, production leaders, operators, ME's and PD's from the tech team. Recent projects I have been involved in include developing cutting programs for EDM film cool process.
Since coming into the TBF facility I feel I have gained a wealth of knowledge by listening to and watching my mentors, by being involved hands on with day to day tasks and activity's. . I have sat in on measure link courses, measure link is a piece of new software that allows the team to control the process and see where parts are deviating from nominal. . I have learnt how to operate a EDM machine . I have learnt how to control cutting parameters to optimize the cutting process
Since leaving the LDC I have thoroughly enjoyed working within the business I placed
