The apprentice salary wasn't great for myself as I had a house, car, and family to support and pay for. I did struggle and nearly quick a few times due to my financial responsibilities.

Yes
Yes BAE Systems is a great company to work for, but I would only recommend the apprenticeship to young individuals who have just finished school or college.
Research and get to know the business, so you have a good understanding of what is current, good to know for interview.
