My role involves, being a Managment apprentice while also undergoing tasks that a store assistant would do, and learning managment tasks and skills, I would work on the tills a lot, put out stock, make tickets for products, manage the shop making sure everyone is doing what is needed. I work with the safe as well as money and have many responsibilities as well and under go that sort of stuff every day.
I have learnt to deal with the public and it has made me more confident with people as well, i build my qualifications up and get lots of training for anything i ask for.
i enjoy it a lot, the team is great i get along with everyone at my work and am always greeted by everyone its a great enviroment
I feel valued a lot to people im just an apprentice but to my work mates im asked managerial stuff, them asking me what to do, what is there to do etc, it makes me feel confident
Its well structered i get given the work each month and im to do it within a certain time whilst actually working too
I get a lot of support if i get stuck with a question she is just a email or a text away to get me an answer
I recieve full guidence at my workplace as they are more than happy with helping me with my work and if im stuck doing a task at work
Its great for me as I currently live with my mum so i do not pay bills, just some rent money, and its perfect, get to treat myself a little, but i dont think its enough if im living alone, even though aldis pay for apprentices is the highest out there
We have work days out as well and they are always great, like we went clay pigeon shooting and segway driving and it was a great laugh
