I am Supply Chain Management Higher Apprentice. I complete various placements across the Rolls-Royce supply chain. This involves tasks such as: managing supplier deliveries, working on inventory projects, chasing delivery commitments, communicating with customers and competitor analysis.
Yes I have definitely learnt new skills and developed some existing ones
It is engaging and I enjoy it enough not to want to apply for another job
There's a real mix according to department in which you're working. Also, there is no guarantee of a job at the end so this make me question my value to the company.
Very well structured. The relationship between education and work experience is well formulated.
I would say that I receive enough support from my provider for what I use them for.
I receive a good amount of support from my employer and know that more would be available should I need it
I can live on my salary now. In the first year it was difficult as my wage was considerably lower.
Yes there are plenty of opportunities outside work such as the AGA and community outreach projects
