In our first year we complete a level 2 in performing engineering operations, this involves becoming competant in different engineering manufacturing processess such as milling and turning and starting in our btec. In the second and third year we work on our NVQ where we work on live projects and tasks on the development and production of new engines.
As someone from a non-engineering background, i have learnt many new skills in many different engineering systems and manufacturing as well as different processes.
I believe this is a very good programme and would definetly recommend to anyone. I feel like the work that we do here is enjoyable and gives you a wide range of new skills.
I feel like we are treated very well at Rolls-Royce and treated as valued members of staff. I also believe that the company wishes for us to succeed and to do the very best possible.
Our programme is very well structured to give us the most information and to learn the most whilst setting us up for different positions in the business.
I feel like we recieve a large amount of support, I feel like they want us to pass and to succeed in our apprenticeship. This is done by providing us with the best possible opportunities and support to complete our apprenticeship.
Our employer provides our training and i believe they give us the best amount of support possible. This is done by providing us with the best possible opportunities and support to complete our apprenticeship.
I believe that the salary is most sufficient as the training provided is of such good quality, i believe that people would still join even without being paid, this is just a 'bonus'.
I believe that Rolls-Royce provides many opportunities outside work for apprentices and makes sure that they feel welcome within the company.
Yes
I believe that this is an excelent apprenticeship that sets its apprentices up very well for the future and for any positions that they could take within Rolls-Royce.
Be honest and be sure to do research before applying. Make sure that this apprenticeship consists of things that you enjoy and are interested rather than just a job.
