Apprentice I am currently working in the tool room at the Turbine Blade Facility, so throughout the day I fix tools that are off various cells and carry out a variety of jobs I speak with The tool room manage everyday in the morning but I do not have any external communication I am responsible for fixing tools there is an on going project in the tools room which I try and get involved with as much as possible
I have learnt many new skills during my time both from shop floor experience and from attending courses
I really enjoy my program and would recommend it to everyone I know
very and although I wish I had the opportunity to choose where my placement was
overall the programme is fairly well structured although from time to time parts of the programme arnt very organised
my ADL gives me a fair amount of support and everyone I work with in TBF is very helpful
My manager is very supportive and helps me whenever I need it
the salary is very good and even though I travel far and use a lot on fuel I still have money to treat myself
I don't hear about opportunities out of work
Yes
because it is the best decision I have made to join Rolls-Royce and I believe anybody would really enjoy the programme
When in the interviews show them everything you have when you were younger and tell them all your skills
