shadowing and assisting a tradesman and learning all the different jobs within the yard and working in differnt areas from the building bays in the fabrication shed to working on the fully built boat.
yes, been on various training courses relevent to the area that you are in but also learning differnt techniques everyday.
i am enjoying the programme and will soon be going into my third year and its good to see how much that you've learned
you are looked after well by the company and training team and within your placement you feel like part of that team.
it is structured well because aswell as on the job experiance you are also at college 1 day a week getting other qualifications to complete the apprenticeship.
the training officers are supportive and are always in touch and are always available if needed about any issues.
from management right down to your tradesman you are supported well throughout the apprenticeship.
it is okay, the apprentice wage increases gradually throughout the apprenticeship but it could be noticeably better and match other similar company's
i am not aware of any but there is opportunities to work on differnt sites within the company throughout different parts of the country.

because it is a good training structure with a job at the end of it aswell as being qualified in your trade.
the only advice I would give is make sure you know the ins and outs of what trade you are applying for before you apply and in the interview process dont be scared to talk yourself up.
