I am currently deploying a project management toolset into the organisation. It will aim to streamline existing processes and provide a cost saving for the business. It involves liaising with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis.
I am currently doing my foundation degree in project management and I will then move onto my honours degree. I am also now APM accredited.
The company is great, they allow me to do extra curricular activities above and beyond my job. The opportunities that they have presented me with have be brilliant.
I feel that I am a valuable asset and feel accepted by the team. I have been apart of many awards evening and therefore the recognition is brilliant.
Very well. The scheme managers do a fantastic job in structuring and deploying us into the business. College is good as well which allows us to achieve the best possible results both in university and in the workplace.
Our tutors are brilliant, they are always at the end of their email addresses and provide us with any support required both from a college perspective and from a work perspective.
A lot. The support is always there as and when you need it. I have a few mentors that all help me with different aspects of my career. My manager is great and provides me with all of the support that I need.
It meets it very well. I am 21 and have my own house, so BAE has given me the opportunity to get on the property ladder at such a young age, which I am very grateful for.
Yes there are lots of events that you can attend, a multitude of air shows and early careers event all make us a lot of extra curricular activities.
Yes
The opportunities that BAE Systems offer are brilliant compared to anywhere else around this area. Unrivalled job prospects, whilst the company is so involved in your development.
Be yourself. Just take your time and think things through. Try and do something else that no-one else has done to differentiate yourself in a way that says you have gone 'above and beyond' what you needed to do.
