  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I see my apprentice development leader every 10 weeks so he can check that everything is going smoothly and whether I have any problems. If something arises between this time he is happy to meet up soon to discuss any queries. At first we didn't have an ADL for a very long time so some of these queries in the first year we didn't know who to contact but since having my latest one he has been very supportive.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a very good company to work for, they take care of their apprentices and help develop them to become great members of staff and it is really enjoyable and you can learn so much from all the additional courses which are available.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Rolls-Royce?
  • It can be hard work sometimes because you are learning so much all the time and you have college/uni work, normal day to day work as well as an NVQ to complete as part of your apprenticeship so you need to be able to manage your time but it's worth it in the end.
