Project Control - CSR, Risk, Cost collection and control, Resourcing, planning, Baseline Change Requests. Interactions daily with the engineers and other project control/management personnel.
Currently awaiting results for APM exam. Done RAF awareness course, and many internal programme courses. Became efficient in Excel and Microsoft Project
I am enjoying it to the most extent. I very much get on with the people I work with and enjoy interacting with a lot of different people. The programme is not quite what I expected going into it, however I am adjusting my expectations accordingly
I have a good relationship with my manager and he trusts me, therefore puts quite a lot of responsibility on me, which is good because it is pushing me to my potential.
It is well structured, maybe too well. It maybe doesn't allow for as much development initially as I maybe hoped, however I am sure this will change in the coming years
College is okay. It is not fantastically structured and there is limited stability in the teaching. However hoping this improves in the years to come
Employer is very supportive in all aspects. I have a heart condition and work is fantastic with accommodating medical appointments and days at the hospital. Also have a few mentors for varying purposes
It is sufficient for the beginning. I suppose it depends on how independently you are living to as if it is adequate. However I assume there is potential for advancement based on progress and achievement.
As a year group we organise lots of days out outside of work which helps us bond as a group, which is positive as a support network.
Yes
Great company, very supportive, allows for a good work life balance.
Put a lot of time and effort into your application, because that is all you are judged on. And at the assessment day be confident in your ability.
