First call operative apprentice this involves being on patch for approximately half the year working with engineers and training in facilities for the other half
I have learnt gas engineering skills
I enjoy leaning new skills and doing the job on patch with the engineers
Yes the engineers treat me as a peer not just an aprentice as well as bt the managers
The program changes on short notice sometimes but overall is well structured and we get told about changes as soon as they know
The training team help us as much as they can and help us through our training
They help us if we need extra training and give us opportunities to learnnew site specific skills and real life skills
The pay package covers my costs

The work and job is very good and the apprentiship scheme is worth going through
