I enjoy it a lot- I feel I settled in well and my team welcomed me and give me plenty of opportunities to settle in well. I find the assignment deadlines quite tight sometimes.
My Line Manager helps me a lot, I feel I am appreciated by the Civil Service and get given great benefits working from there. I get given responsibilities by senior civil servants which makes me feel valued.
The apprenticeship induction was good, it was spread over 2 days and was good being able to mix with other apprentices and learn about their experiences so far. Capita do not have great communication and feel that some assessors don't take into consideration the workload.
I feel I don't get much support from my NVQ assessor. I just get sent hand outs once every couple of months and that's it. The replies are slow from her and she gives negative feedback about amendments even though it takes 2+ months to provide the amendments.
I gain a lot of support from my employer. My line manager is very supportive and drips me new work at a time to enable me to familiarise myself.
Well. A lot more than apprentices in other companies.
The Civil Service offer numerous development and training courses including prince 2. this widens my skill and knowledge.
Yes
I feel that the support, salary and benefits are good.
It is very daunting at first when first joining however the opportunities and benefits they provide are great and really make you feel a valued member of staff.
