My job title is Account Handler for the Asian book of accounts, this means that on a daily basis I have to monitor reports that show what risks and debit notes are on our targets and whether these will be hit or missed. I also monitor and respond to any queries we receive from clients, clients in my job can range from my account handlers in london to underwriters and to external clients. I have also recently started to become more involved in the Treaty Business, my role at the moment is to generate transactions and print off all statements for our monthly bdx
My company provides regualr training sessions to enhance our skills, such as presentation training which helped us develop the skills to public speak. As well as this, I have gained an NVQ in providing financial services which is a qualification i can develop if i wish to.
I have found the programme enjoyable as it has taught me new skills, however i sometimes found it difficult to balance both studying for my NVQ and my work load as during our renewal periods there wasnt much spare time to study
I believe I received the best possible help from WS Training, mainly from my assesor Hayley who would help no matter what time or question. Hayley always would give me the best support i needed for that moment and always pushed me to try my hardest,
My team gave me all the support they could with regards to my job role and with my exam.
Very well
There are always charity events being held such as pub quiz or wine tasting
