Travelling around my patch with a two man team doing fucntional work and inspections on pressure reduction equipment.
National Grid has provided me with a huge oppurtunity to broaden my range of skills. This includes Breathing apparatus training, advanced first aid, both mechanical and electrical courses, etc.
I enjoy my apprenticeship very much. Made loads of new friends and enjoying the experience very much
National Grid values all there employees equally and i am happy at national grid.
The programme is organised well. It caters the needs of everyone if they have holidays booked or are off sick etc. It also meets the needs of everyhting we need to learn for our job
There is an unlimited amount of support from everyone at national grid and outside contractors.
