When on site my job on a day to day basis is to ensure all the equipment that controls the presure of the gas flow around my district is in working order, as well as any other importnant pieces of equipment; such as the water bath heaters.
Yes, all the work with have done in the workshop has been very beneficial and all of the work we have done on site has been new to me so i have learnt lots there.
I really enjoy my programme, working with my friends and learning new skills with good managers.
You are made to feel important as if oyu have a problem then the managers try to help and you can see how your role helps the whole of national grid.
It is well organised and we see clearly where and when we are supposed to be places.
Quite a lot, you get lots of emails and regular review meetings with your manager.

Yeah it is good and the progression for the wages is good, as well as the expenses are very helpful.
