As a mechanical fitter apprentice my day to day role is to messure things to make sure they are to the correct standard, Fit verious different things, strip mechanical assemblies down clean/fix them.
Not coming from an engineering mostly new skills have been developed but existing skills have also been enhanced on.
i am really enjoying my apprenticeship and hoping to move onto higher education.
i fell very valued and there are many ways for me to contribute to the company.
it is well organised and structed around college and work. i would like to do a sencond outwards bounds at the end of the apprentice ship to show how far everyone has come.
you recieve as much as you want. if you find youself stuggleing then theyll be help there to enure you feel comfortable
i recieve alot of support in different ways, all contributing to me enjoying coming to work.
ive always been good with my money so the salary is fine, i could understand people with houses and kids may struggle at the beginning. somtime the pay be incorrect but always get sorted one you ring up.

it is a great place to work and gain all the experance you need to become great in the trade you go for.
put 100% into you work it and it will pay off.
