The programme is relevant to the job and is very enjoyable because of the various skills that you learn, which can be applied both to the job specifically and outside of the job. The programme provides a great opportunity to meet new people and try new things.
Managers appreciate the hard work that you put into the programme and it wont go unnoticed.
The induction provides a good overview of the company, its expectations and its policies. It also includes a weeks outward bounds course which is very enjoyable and rewarding. The PEO is relevant to the job and will tie in with the on site work. The nature of the E&I role requires a lot of theory to be learnt before going out in the field.
Programme managers and lecturers are very knowledgeable and are able to deliver the relevant information. They are always willing to help with any problems you may have.
Line managers and programme managers are very supportive and will help you with any problems regarding the off site training programme or onsite training.
Salary exceeded my expectations. All travel costs are covered. While on off the job training all living costs are also covered while staying away from home.
Having only just started the apprenticeship this year I don't know much about opportunities outside of work.
