Audit Trainee Assisting on audits Attending CFAB and ACA qualification lessons
I do not begin the apprenticeship until Sep 2014 but I attended their Summer School 2013 and I learned many new skills associated with auditing accounts.
I am very much looking forward to starting my programme in September 2014. During the Summer School, I enjoyed the atmosphere in the BDO office and the friendly BDO staff made it an enjoyable experience.
BDO were kind enough to offer me the school leavers apprenticeship for Sep 2014 (after I've finished my A-levels) and they were very cooperative with changing the office to which I had originally applied. BDO made me feel like I would be a valuable employee.
Very well structured. 2 years CFAB and HNA. 3 years ACA. Fully qualified chartered accountant after 5 years. Working on the job is going to be a valuable asset once I've gained all of the qualifications.
Support throughout my application and Summer School experience at BDO was infallible.
I regularly receive emails and updates regarding my placement beginning in September. BDO have established a trainee site in which myself and other trainees can converse and build relationships before the start of the apprenticeship.
I have no doubt the salary which I have been allocated will meet my needs efficiently.
BDO organise many charity events which I am keen to get involved in and maybe even organise some of my own.
Yes
Although they are a large company, they make every individual employee feel empowered and important.
Do it! The Summer School is a fantastic opportunity and will enable you to experience 2 weeks inside a BDO office. Always ask questions - there will always be someone around who is happy to help you.
