My job title is technical apprentice. I go through different areas of the business every 4 months, and gain as much of an understanding of the business as i can, i interact with everyone, from fellow workers to executives.
I have gained BTEC Levels 3-4 during my out of time training and im currently in the process of doing my foundation degree.
I very much enjoy the work i am given to do and feel included in the larger projects of the company.
I feel like a fully valued employee with appreciation from the manager. Including involvemebt within tasks.
The apprenticeship system is well structured. With regular updates on my progress
There is a lot of support, with the attitude being one of support. And guidance for any problems i may have.
I have a lot of access to support from my employer, including guidance with any problems, and access to higher up team members.
The salary is currently very generous and meets my needs for living independantly.
There are many work sponsored and non work sponsored external activitys. There are also local leaisure clubs.
