  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Logistics Apprentice and my daily tasks differ from what department i am currently on, as of right now i am on Goods In and my daily tasks involve: Moving stock that we get delivered into the racking and other sections of the warehouse so that the warehouse always has stock for the selectors to pick for the stores. On a daily basis I interact with the Goods In Deputies about anything related to the task at hand. As of right I don't have any interactions externally. My responsibilities include making sure I can adapt to each section of the warehouse quickly and efficiently so that I am able to do the work given to me with speed and accuracy and heavily taking into account of health and safety of myself and others around me. I don't currently have and projects. Everyday I come in and sign in at the certain section that i am currently working at and then I talk to the Deputies about my tasks for that day and then I go and complete my tasks.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • This programme is very well organised because the apprentices get monthly visits to see how we are getting on and too give us work which progresses us further through the programme, I have a large variety of support available to me if needed such as the section deputies and through my monthly visits. When i am given work to do to further progress me through the programme I can get support of people if required and I am given very clear instructions for what I need to complete. This programme is organized well in my opinion.
