My role involves being part of a team on a project, interacting with clients, team members and external stakeholders. I am involved in PMO tasks, organising and structuring key aspects of the project.
I have taken professional qualifications, which have provided me with new skills and knowledge I did not previously have. Training at the start of the programme developed my communication skills and also enhanced my knowledge around using different applications thst I would need in the future
I really enjoy the scheme so far. It's challenging but at the same time it feels really good to be doing something completely different to my friends and knowing this experience will be very beneficial in the future.
Very valued and appreciated. I am not treated any differently to anyone else even though I am a lot younger. Instead, people are very impressed and interested in what I am doing.
very organised. For the training especially I felt thst it had been very thought out and planned in advance. We were developing basic but essential skills that we would need which is obviously very important.
Any problems we had, it was easy to go and ask. this applies for uni as well, we had a good relationship with our lecturers so I felt comfortable asking them for help.
we have a buddy to go to if we have any questions or concerns. This can be a bit difficult sometimes as you may not have a chance to meet up a lot so it would have to be done over the phone but atleast the support is still there. Everyone is more than happy to help and I do genuinely believe that.
As I live away from home, it is harder to manage because my costs are a lot higher than some people. I don't struggle but I definitely need to be aware and cautious of my spending.
yes there are plenty of social events in work and chances to network and meet new people. There are also voluntary events and things you can get involved in. Outside of work I spend a lot of time with my friends and doing things with them
Yes
This is such a unique and amazing experience that you would never get anywhere else. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and treat you with respect. It's a very sociable company and the people that work here are so positive and unique
Be positive and enthusiastic. Be yourself and ask any questions because it shows that you are interested in the company. Do your research on the company, maybe find out some projects Deloitte have bee involved in and ask questions around that. Don't be nervous because there is no need to be!
