Loads of different tasks to participate in, the job role is really interested and we have opportunities to get involved with loads of work related stuff
I have learnt to organize myself more efficiently and delegate tasks, making sure I get the most important things done first. I have learnt to be more professional and we have also done internal Excel training courses and sharepoint courses. I have also done a level 3 NVQ in my first year, progressing on to a level 4 HNC in my second
I enjoy my apprenticeship a lot, however sometimes there are things that I don't think are fair, it seems some other apprentices get picked for every opportunity they want and others are not chosen, seems to depend on the department they have been put in.
I feel valued as they are investing a lot of time and money into our career progression
It's well organised internally however college has arisen mixed opinions, these issues have mostly been sorted now however. Only other criticism is that sometimes I feel out of the loop with some information regarding it.
I have received support from my course regarding my training that has been helpful
I receive good support from my team regarding my job role, any questions I have then I can ask them. I sometimes feel it's hard to ask HR questions regarding our apprenticeship such as contractual, and the sorts of courses we are going to be doing, as I know the information is still up for debate but it would be good to know more information.
At the moment the salary is adequate, however I have concerns for the future due to the fact our contracts have been extended, and I am going to want to be moving out at some point in the next few years and on the current salary that won't be a viable option
There are loads of opportunities to participate in outside of work
Yes
I would recommend because it's a great thing to get involved with, Hopefully what happens after is clearer in the future though because Its nice to know what's going to happen
Be confident when applying
