  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am doing a business administration apprenticeship at Unilever and specifically working within the global marketing function. On a daily basis my role within a larger team of social analysts is looking at what our consumers have to say about our product through social media. To do this I use many online tools to help me look through what people are saying about the products in real time. I then will use another tool to work out whether the comments are positive or negative and therefore work out whether people like the product or not. A recent project I have been working on is collecting all the reviews of every product from every available online source. This helps the business to see quickly which products are favoured over others.

  • I really enjoy the programme I am on. I work within a great team that treat me like a another team member which is really nice as I am the one still learning. The company is an excellent as they try very hard to incorporate the apprentices into everything they do. The apprenticeship went above my expectations as I am work on a daily basis that I feel is actually helping the business.
