I am involved in a home care project and therefore have both weekly and monthly meeting where the team and the stakeholder meet, I contribute my thoughts to these meetings and often take the notes. In addition to that I also complete tasks as part of the PMO team such as gathering data and inputting it into an excel, organising workshops and creating training manuals
I have learnt a range of new skills over the past few months. I have been able to develop my understanding of the role of the PM, and also the other different functions within a project. I have also learnt about the process that a project goes through before it reaches completion, IPM funnel.
I really enjoy my programme, at the moment I am learning and trying new things every day so no two days have been the same.
I feel really valued by Unilever, I have been welcomed by team from the beginning and love the fact that everyone is willing to help regardless of their position.
So far my programme is very structured. My apprenticeship employer, my Unilever employer and assessor are always there to help me with any guidance or questions that I have. I am making progress with my qualification using evidence that I am picking up in my day to day role.
I have a good amount of support from my training provider, we are often in contact and is there to provide feedback on the work I am submitting.
I receive an excellent amount of support from my employer. I meet regularly to ensure both work and personal life is going well. Over the past few months I have been able to an establish a good and welcoming relationship with her.
Yes, the wage is really good considering I am an apprentice.
Yes there are lots of additional opportunities to get involved in outside of my office, many of them come from the apprentice community that has developed within Unilever.
Yes
Its a great environment to work in and the skills I am developing and able to benefit me for anything I will go on to do in the future.
Be yourself, employers don't focus on what's on your CV.
