My role on a day to day basis consists of heading out with my team doing maintenance and faulting on electrical signalling equipment.
I have learnt loads of new skills, from making new friends and improving my social skills, to learning the ins and outs of electrical engineering.
I enjoy the programme so much, so much time and effort is put into your experience to make sure you come out fully qualified.
I feel like a very valued employee,I get all of the help and guidance I need from the instructors and also my colleagues.
The apprenticeship scheme is very well structured,it is done over 3 years, 1st year at HMS Sultan and the final two years at your chosen depot.
I receive constant support from my training provider, if I need anything I only have to ask and I will get a response the very same day.
My employers are fantastic, i get loads of support and help and someone is always on hand to help.
Salary is fantastic, i feel like for once I actually have enough money to buy the things I want!
There are plenty of opportunities, there are loads throughout the country and even abroad!
