I shadowed many trainees and full time solicitors. Also I helped with many basic tasks and also completed exemplar solicitor work.
Being able to work on my own and doing very complicated tasks without any help was something I found I was doing a lot.
I thoroughly enjoyed my work experience. It gave me an idea of the type of work I am interested in
Pinsent Masons was entirely welcoming to all of us. We were treated as colleagues and were always occupied with interesting tasks to complete.
The program was very well planned as we all were allocated certain areas of work each day as we were given different people to work with
They helped us organise everything and get to and from work. The free lunches were a bonus but everything was explicitly laid out for our benefits
It varied as some departments had cases that they worked on and didn't have much time to speak with us but others had lots of time to support us in everything
All expenses were paid.
