My role is too become an Overhead Lines Technician. I travel to work, train and return back to base
Yes, during this time I have learnt new skills and developed others that I already had
I enjoy learning new things on a daily basis that will help me in my career
Somewhat valued, I believe I will feel more valued when I begin year 2 and enter the working world at my depot
I feel it was not well organised or well-structured at all
Nowhere near the amount that is needed to get the full understanding of everything
I receive next to nothing, but I expect that to change in years 2 and 3
It allows me to have enough money to live on but in years 2 and 3 I will struggle
Not particularly no
Yes
The skills you will gain throughout the whole apprenticeship and invaluable and you will set yourself up for a great career
Get through the struggle, it will be worth it
