I am a first year Associate working in assurance for the technology, media and telecoms sub service line. My daily tasks vary on the client I am working for and the nature of the engagement. This adds a lot to job satisfaction. I interact with many members of the firm internally and also externally with different clients.
I am currently in the process of studying and practicing to gain my ACA qualification. I have learnt a lot about accounting and the massive role in plays in businesses of all sizes.
The nature of the work is good and interesting. The workplace culture is great asewll with many social events. I enjoy the cohort of people I started with.
I feel valued in the sense where my work is used and reviewed by partners which finally gets signed off.
The structure of the programme is good with clear indication of what dates you will be in college studying and the dates of exams. This allows you to prepare your schedule to fit in studying.
Not a great deal. The option is there but I have never used it.
A lot of support around exam times with workload
Salary is healthy enough to survive in London if living at home. However for those who need to stay on their own it can be tight.
Quite a lot. I've been involved in the company football team and also other charity events.
Yes
It's a great global company with so many opportunities open to you while working with genuinely nice people, for me that does it for me.
Honestly be yourself, the people conducting interviews will see through a fake persona, as long as you're honest and show a great eagerness to learn, deliver results and add value to the company you will be selected.
