I came into Capgemini as a Junior Software Engineer. I was essentially a third line support for all customer incidents that came into the HMRC account. My day to day job was to fix customer issues so they could continue to complete their online submissions.
I learnt a number of skills. Being proficient in SQL and Unix. I was given opportunities to broaden my confidence and presentation skills.
It was a great stepping stone into work life. I learnt so much in my first year as an apprentice.
I feel very valued at Capgemini. The progression is fantastic and I'm always given what is expected of me and how to succeed it.
It was very well structured. You always knew what you had to do next to get to the next level.
I was supported whenever I needed it. I could always go and talk to them about anything, either work or non work related stuff.

It was a great salary to start on and has gradually grown over the years. It does get a bit harder as you progress though.
In my area... Not really. This is disappointing as I'd like to get involved in more.
Yes
Its a great company to work for and is growing fast. It pays well and there is a lot of movement and progression available within the company.
Keep chugging along and you'll get rewarded even if it doesn't feel like that right now, it'll come.
