Audit Associate Daily tasks involve attending client offices and performing testing based on the draft financial statements. This means client facing the majority of the time with responsibility given from the start. Testing can be anything from fairly basic 1-2 hour sections through to sections that take anything up to a couple of weeks. The working teams vary all the which makes each day/week/job totally different which is refreshing. There are also plenty of opportunities for social and group activities - anything from quarterly socials, sport teams and charity work. The office as a whole is always really friendly with a good atmosphere and a fairly young team.
AAT - level 3 and level 4 ACA - professional through to advanced (exempt from certificate level) Bradenham Manor - A training center down south where internal training is completed - lots of support given in the first year
Very enjoyable but hard work
Fairly organised - there is a set time frame structured around college exams but in terms of internal training not always too structured
As much or as little as you would like
Again, as much or as little as you require. Each employee is assigned a buddy and a line manager who both work as support function as well as the rest of the department.
Living at home this easily covers my costs - to move out on a school leaver salary my be a slight stretch to begin with
