I'm a finance reporter. My departments many objective is to drive down costs throughout Unilever. I create reports every month to explain how well Unilever are sticking to their forecasts for costs. I have 5 major reports to do at the end of every month.
I have developed my knowledge of excel. I am still learning new ways represent may data. I have learnt a lot about finance, the terminology and process that are involved.
I feel the programme i am currently on is very beneficial. i have had a lot of help settling in from other apprentices who have made my first few months working here a lot easier than i expected.
The work i am doing is very valuable. I have had emails from employees based in other counties from other departments wanting to know about the data i am reporting on.
the programme i am on is structured very well. I had regular catch up meetings to help me settle in. My work load has slowly increased the longer i have been here. I feel it is moving at a good pace.
the programme i am on is structured very well. I have regular catch up meetings with people who help me to get the best out of my apprenticeship and do the best with my coursework. i always have someone to talk to with any problems or queries i may have.
I have weekly catch up meetings with my manager where we go over any concerns i may have or new tasks he wishes me to start.
As i am still living at home i don't have very many cost therefore the slaray is very good. I believe if i had a place for myself the salary may not cover all the costs.
As the work load to not stressful I have time to coach cricket as a secondary income and train mid week while playing games over the weekend. During the winter i play football over the weekend
