As an audit associate, I am out on site on a day to day basis talking to finance controller and financial directors on how they can improve there accounting function or business.
I am ACCA qualified at 21. I came in with no financial background and now I am leading teams out on site.
It is a busy job with deadlines every week, but I thrive on this. The people here are great, they are what make the company and the environment what it is.
You can never be recognised enough in my opinion, but generally I have been very lucky and managed extremely well by my line manager and mentor.
This could be improved. Whilst it all fitting in to place, if ever there was a problem I would ask Kaplan before Grant Thornton. Saying that the training is good, without that I would be where I am now.
Kaplan are amazing - I would recommend to anyone a million times over.
As mentioned above.
Well paid scheme - I often wonder whether this is the company's down fall, that it is too good at times.
A few, but not many. A few go on, but not many I am interested in.
Yes
Great company and an amazing place to learn and ply your trade.
Take every opportunity. See the programme as an opportunity and not a job and you'll get far more than just a qualification out of it.
