Wear PPE, get all equipent and tools ready for the job but make sure area is clean and tidy and risk assess the area before you start. Then weld what is required of me to do. At the end of shift make sure area is cleaned again before you go.
I just carry on with my existing skills unbtill im in the school to progress with my skills.
I enjoy the program very much.
semi valued at the moment, I have to keep on at them to get me through the apprentaship.
In the Welding school there is no organisation apprenices are being put onto the shopfloor then they can only do so many welds as they have not done all their weld tests then cant do some of the welds that is required.
The support from my training provider has been amaizing and is pushing for me to get through it all.
The support i get from my employer/team leader is amaizing as he wants me to progress as quick as possible.
Not very well at the moment as I have 3 children and a lot of debts so at the moment no.
