Before my training on the till starts, my day-to-day work consists of making sure all shelves have enough stock on sale to the public (mainly in the Produce & Chillder department). If a re-stock is required, I will go into the warehouse and bring out a crate of new stock. I also do 'carding', where I go around the store with a basket collecting empty (or nearly empty) boxes or crates and making sure I pull a new full box from the back to the front shelf after I remove the previous empty box.
Yes. I am learning everyday. I have already learned how rotate products from older dates to newer ones, how to stack shelves, how to use equipment/tools in the warehouse eg; bailer, pump truck, etc.
Very much so. I'm learning new things all the time & the work I do is very up my streak, being fast pased, physical work! All the staff are every welcoming and friendly to me too.
I feel as if I bring something to Aldi where my contribution is noticed. I help our customers in a warm, friendly manor & the staff treat me well.
Very well structured. Everyday people tell me what my jobs are and I get on with them. The organisation is fantastic.
Well supported.
I receive a lot of support, as I am fairly new, I am helped a lot. But not too much which is a good thing as sometimes I need to do things independently.
I have not complaints about my salary. I am fully satisfied by it.
As well as working 30 hours a week, I do have time to do other things I enjoy, like sports, etc.
Yes
Because it opens so many doors for opportunity. Staff treat you well & you are well looked after. And money if very good too.
