Currently I work alongside the client team for a large governmental department and support with the User Acceptance testing process for systems that are being released
I have learnt numerous new skills whilst on the Capgemini course. When I joined, I took part in a 13 week accelerated learning course which is designed to bring you up to speed and ready to go out into the business, skills include technological ones such as Java or SQL Data warehousing and other soft skills. Whilst on a project - learn lots of new skills during first week but over time the learning slows down and not much is taught.
Company and the program are great - great work culture and lots of team dinners etc
Company values all apprentices highly - all staff members are extremely supportive.
The course is very structured
Tutor is extremely helpful and always available.
Lots of support given during ALE and from employer when it is asked for.
Salary is great and there is a great and clear development route if you want a promotion
Numerous opportunities for apprentices outside of work such as volunteering in schools / charity bike rides or mountain climbs
Yes
Great company to work for with lots of friendly people and lots of room to progress career.
Do lots of research into what Capgemini do as a company before looking to go into the interview
