  • I am a trainee front of house supervisor/Team leader for Greene king. My role is to help with the running of the pub to ensure our guests leave after a positive experience. Whether they are dining or drinking with us.

  • I am learning and developing skills on a day to day basis and this helps my confidence in my role and fuels my ambition to further my career within the company.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the challenge and learning more in depth about the business side of the hospitality industry I am fully supported in house and by my trainer every step of the way. They are always on hand for advice.

  • I feel valued highly by my house manager and her encouragement and support is strong which fuels my ambition to progress within the company

  • Very well organised and very structured I'm always kept informed regarding what is expected of me from one visit to the next.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Excellent support. I am never made to feel a nuisance when I have to call on my trainers advice.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My house manager is extremely supportive and is always looking for extra ways to advance my development including training days which coincide with my qualification program

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • At the moment I am comfor table with my income as I am new to the role and my confidence is growing day by day I am sure should anot increase be justified it will be.

  • I am always made aware of outside opportunities to advance my learning and my house manager and trainer always encourage me to grasp these opportunities.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because there is always opportunity to further your career within greeneking and I feel that if you show ambition you will be supported. What started put as a part time job is now becoming a full time career.
