Software developer. I will be writing software for a variety of clients with my team. Currently I write in Java and SQL. I will be commuting to various client sites.
I have developed my coding skills which were, before this, lacking. I can now write comfortably in Java and reasonably in SQL/PLSQL. I have also developed my people skills and other soft skills.
I enjoy every aspect of my programme. I feel challenged by the work and this gives me great enjoyment. I also love meeting new people and working on different kinds of projects.
I feel very valued by Capgemini. The induction process has been amazing and it has made me feel very welcome. I feel comfortable in my role because of Capgemini.
The programme is very well structured. It is quite packed which has made it challenging however the rigid structure has enabled me to deal with the stress easily.
I feel Aston university has made it very easy for me to get help with the course and they have made it obvious who I should seek if I have a problem.
My employer has been with me every step of the way, they regularly check up on me and we have developed a friendly relationship during my time.
I have been provided with a decent salary that meets my needs. Also all my living costs have been supplied by my employer, they have made me very comfortable.
There are facilities to use on campus as a part of my accommodation however as the university was closing when I attended there was not much on. During my first week the company did provide many activities though.
Yes
They have always made me feel comfortable and have given me plenty of opportunities. They have made it so that my job is always interesting and enjoyable.
