I am a trainee associate. My daily tasks include assisting the audit team by taking on financial statement testing. On a day to day basis I interact with different people and get to meet new people everyday. I am often given responsibility to test an account or a small entity myself.
I have learnt to become more confident and I have learnt people skills
Obviously being in assurance the work load can get busy. However, the work is appreciated and the work load often weights out with quieter days. I enjoy the job very much as I am always learning
I feel extremely valued
I would say the time at college and the exams is very organised and Kaplan have amazing resources and tutors. However, the training on the job can differ as some teams are extremely busy and often do not have much time to train junior members
The exams and tutors are very good
I receive support from my counsellor who is very helpful when I have any issues
I think the school leaver salary is very impressive

Yes
Because they would learn a lot and become a chartered accountant at the end of the programme
